Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center is offering a Conference in Quality and Safety. The goal of the conference is to advance a culture of integrated quality improvement in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, provide a forum to share and discuss ongoing initiatives, and foster collaborative work in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology quality and safety. The symposium will feature keynote speaker, oral presentations of Quality Improvement Projects, a poster session, pre-conference workshops and a new Works-in-Progress session

1. Integrate quality and patient safety standards in the clinical practice of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
2. Identify and share principles and methods to use data to draw on resources, drive patient outcomes and lead to changes in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology patient care

1. At the conclusion of this conference, 90% of participants will identify at least one concept learned to enhance prioritization in quality and safety standards within the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology field based on information learned during the session(s). (Knowledge)
